Define "fix"

I was talking with a friend the other day, and he said (one hopes, in jest) that "Obama is going to fix America."

I observed that fix has two definitions.

1) to repair something, or to restore to a previous state.

2) to neuter, to spay, to render impotent/sterile

I agreed that he's going to fix America, but what keeps me up at night is wondering which definition it's going to be.

I'm deathly afraid of the second one. To say my confidence in this administration is lacking is rather polite. How I feel inside is a whole other story. Peace and love to you, Friend.

Your friend, however nice and wonderful they may be, is an idiot by making that statement. No one can "fix" anything like that! I do however, think that Obama can encourage and change this country for the better. I may not agree with his spending right now- it makes me very nervous- but I do believe that he makes decisions with America's best interest in mind.

Ahh, maybe he meant "Obama likes all the FIXINS'" You know, like sour cream, butter, chives, cheese and bacos?
